Find plants for your terrace

Filter by: sun level (full sun, partial shade, shade), wind exposure (sheltered, moderate, exposed), minimum container size, and crop category (vegetable, herb, fruit, flower, screening). Results show plant name, ideal container volume, expected yield or coverage, and seasonal notes. Use the planner on the home page to add selected plants directly to your layout.

The catalog covers productive crops (vegetables, herbs, soft fruit), ornamentals suited to terrace conditions (wind-tough perennials, hardy annuals), and structural or screening plants (bamboo, ornamental grasses, climbing plants on trellis). Each entry includes a minimum container size, water needs, sun requirement, and a wind tolerance rating based on the conditions terrace growers actually encounter.

If you are starting from scratch, filter for your sun level and wind exposure first, then narrow by container size based on the load capacity of your terrace. The planner will flag if your selected container arrangement approaches the structural limit you enter for your space.
